About the Role
At Palantir Technologies, we build software that empowers the world's most important institutions to make data-driven decisions. As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer (FDSE), you will work directly with customers to understand their critical problems and design solutions that leverage data to drive real-world impact.
Responsibilities
As an FDSE, your responsibilities will include:
- Working directly with customers to understand their most pressing issues.
- Designing and implementing data-driven solutions to address these challenges.
- Collaborating with small teams to own end-to-end execution of high-stakes projects.
- Engaging in tasks ranging from architecture discussions to coding custom web applications.
- Speaking with customer executives to gather requirements and provide insights.
- Establishing strategies for your team and ensuring project completion from start to finish.
Requirements
- 1+ years of relevant, post-college work experience.
- Strong engineering background, preferably in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript.
