About the Position
The 427th Separate Brigade of Unmanned Systems "RAROG" is a distinguished unit within the Armed Forces of Ukraine, recognized for its significant achievements in destroying enemy equipment and manpower. The brigade is actively developing and expanding its teams. We are currently seeking an FPV drone pilot to operate FPV drones in combat conditions, including FPV kamikaze drones, bombers, fiber optic drones, classic quadcopters, and massive hexa-FPV drones. Successful completion of tasks requires good hand-eye coordination and quick reactions.
Responsibilities
- Piloting FPV drones
- Complying with safety rules for operating UAVs
- Understanding the purpose of the task and adjusting the drone usage strategy accordingly
- Having information about available resources, channels, ammunition, batteries, and their combination in accordance with the task
- Planning and executing flight tasks in accordance with the mission
- Developing routes taking into account terrain, weather conditions, and air defense/electronic warfare threats
- Communicating with the duty officer, providing reports on the tactical situation
- Maintaining the UAVs in good working order
- Complying with safety and confidentiality rules
Requirements
- Ability to work with GIS software and navigation systems
- Responsibility, attention to detail
- Experience with UAVs will be an advantage (if not available, we will provide training at training centers or with manufacturers)
- Knowledge of aerodynamics and navigation principles will be an advantage
Working Conditions
- Mobilization until the end of martial law, or contract service
- Salary ranging from UAH 50,000 to UAH 120,000 depending on the task and place of service
- Working with modern reconnaissance technologies
