FPV Technologist

About the Position

We are TAF Industries, a military-tech company focused on developing and producing advanced defense technologies-from FPV drones and loitering munitions to missiles and AI-driven reconnaissance systems. We are looking for an FPV Technologist to join our team in Kyiv.

Responsibilities

• Developing technological documentation: specifications, operational and routing-operational charts
• Analyzing engineering documentation for manufacturability and identifying inefficiencies
• Planning production workflows: defining operations sequence, selecting equipment and tools
• Supporting production launch: participating in pilot builds and pre-series prototypes, implementing adjustments
• Optimizing technological processes to improve quality and reduce labor intensity
• Technical support of production: resolving technological issues directly on the production floor

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience as a technologist or process engineer
• Skills in developing technical documentation (specifications, operation charts, routing sheets)
• Knowledge of ESKD standards and ability to read engineering drawings
• Practical skills in soldering, 3D printing, and quality control
• Analytical thinking and a systematic approach to processes
• Attention to detail, responsibility, and result orientation
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team

Nice to Have

• Certification for working with high-risk equipment
• Experience in drone manufacturing, light industrial automation, or mechatronics
• Driver’s license (Category B)
• Recommendations from previous workplaces
