Are you passionate about gaming and experienced in translation? TransPerfect Gaming is looking for freelance KOREAN to THAI gaming translators and proofreaders to collaborate on exciting localization projects. You'll work on everything from indie games to AAA titles, ensuring the best gaming experience for THAI players.
Responsibilities
- Translate and proofread game content from KOREAN to THAI
- Ensure accurate and culturally appropriate localization
- Work on a variety of gaming genres including Adventure, Strategy, and Fantasy
- Utilize CAT tools for efficient translation
- Meet deadlines in a fast-paced, creative environment
Requirements
- Native-level proficiency in THAI
- Strong command of KOREAN and ENGLISH
- Deep passion for gaming and familiarity with gaming terminology
- Minimum 2 years of experience in gaming localization and expertise in proofreading (KOREAN > THAI)
- Expertise in Adventure, Strategy, and Fantasy games
- Familiar with gaming terminologies
- Skilled in CAT tools
- Detail-oriented with excellent grammar, spelling, and terminology skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced, creative environment
Minimum Requirements
Must meet ONE of the following:
- A Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or equivalent with significant translation training)
- 2+ years of translation experience + a college degree
- 5+ years of translation experience (no degree required)
- A translation certification issued by an appropriate government body
