Front-end Developer (React)

About the Position

Our client, a company that trades energy products such as electricity, gas, gas condensate, and coal, is looking for a Front-end Developer (React) to join their team in Zagreb. This is a full-time permanent role with hybrid work options. You will be part of a driven team and will have the opportunity to participate in the design stage of a large ETRM system, influencing its development with your knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Writing, implementation, and maintenance of code using JavaScript with React
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS/SCSS
• Playing a major role in the development of client-server applications for ETRM projects from A to Z
• Collaborating with backend developers to integrate frontend components with REST APIs
• Participation in code reviews

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience of full-cycle development with React
• Ability to write clean, testable, and well-documented code
• Familiarity with backend development and REST APIs
• Excellent communication skills to be able to speak to application users
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or another relevant area
• Spoken and written English at a professional level (B2 at least)

Nice to Have

• Experience realizing full cycle projects (entire SDLC)
• Experience in regular communication with application users
• Experience developing an ETRM or similar application or working in the energy-trading industry
