Front-end Software Engineer (React)

About the Position

We are looking for a Front-end Software Engineer (React) to join our innovative European gaming technology initiative. You'll be part of a team that provides real-money gaming solutions to licensed operators worldwide. Our goal is to build engaging, responsible, and high-performing digital entertainment experiences, supporting the launch and continuous enhancement of our eInstant gaming platform offered in a Games-as-a-Service (GaaS) model.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable and high-performance front-end applications using React.js and Next.js.
• Implement server-side rendering, API routes, and authentication strategies.
• Utilize Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, and component libraries such as DaisyUI.
• Write clean, maintainable, and type-safe code using TypeScript.
• Build, secure, and optimize RESTful APIs.
• Implement real-time communication via WebSocket APIs.
• Practice Test-Driven Development (TDD) using tools like Vitest and Cypress.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• React.js (4+ years): Deep understanding of React.js fundamentals, including component life-cycles, hooks, state management strategies, and performance optimizations.
• Next.js: Hands-on experience with server-side rendering, API routes, authentication strategies, and performance tuning.
• TypeScript: Strong knowledge of TypeScript, including custom types, generics, utility types, and type safety best practices.
• Tailwind CSS: Proficient with Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, and component libraries such as DaisyUI or similar UI libraries.
• RESTful APIs: Experience working with RESTful APIs - building, securing, and optimizing for performance.
• WebSocket APIs: Familiarity with real-time communication via native WebSocket APIs or third-party libraries.
• Test-Driven Development: Practical experience with TDD using tools like Vitest and Cypress for unit and end-to-end testing.
• Git: Comfortable working with modern development tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence.
• Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts and collaborate effectively within a team.
