We handle customs declarations for companies that import or export goods. Daily, we process thousands of declarations for hundreds of different clients. We strive to align as closely as possible with our clients' logistical processes to minimize delays. We have extensive knowledge in-house and use it every day to maintain high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

As a Front Office Medewerker, you will:

Process incoming orders from our clients.
Screen orders for completeness and perform a light content check to assess the accuracy of the provided information.
Prepare orders for the declarants.
Answer incoming customer calls. You will handle some questions yourself and connect the customer with a declarant for others. You ensure customer satisfaction and enable your colleagues to do their work effectively.

Requirements

Enjoy dynamic work and telephone customer contact with our international clients.
Be meticulous, as errors can have significant consequences in the customs world.
Communicate well with customers and build relationships with our regular clients.
Empathize with customers and enjoy solving problems.
Speak Dutch and English fluently, with a preference for strong spoken English skills. Proficiency in German is a plus.
Have completed a secondary education level 3 or 4.
Have knowledge of customs, although it is not necessary as we will train you.
Have experience in logistics, as the clients you will be in contact with are often in the logistics sector.
