About the Position
ThingsBoard, Inc. invites a Frontend Developer (Angular v18+), Junior+/Middle level to join our Development Unit (only office work). We are looking for a proactive and communicative person with strong English skills, as this role involves frequent interactions with clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain user-facing features using Angular.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code, following best practices.
- Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and clients to deliver high-quality UI solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
- Debug and resolve issues in existing code.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript
- Experience with Angular 18+
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent English (B2/C1) – ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Ability to work effectively in a team and handle client interactions
- Experience with Git or other version control systems
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and client-server communication
Key Challenges for the First Year
- Project delivery: Successfully deliver and complete at least 1 client project within the agreed timeline.
- Independent communication and estimation: Independently lead technical calls with clients, gather requirements, and provide accurate time estimates.
- Effective cross-functional collaboration: Work seamlessly with UI/UX designers on visual implementation and with backend developers on REST API integration.
- Deep platform proficiency: Develop a solid understanding of the platform's internal capabilities to build high-quality, high-performance interfaces.
