Frontend Developer (Next.js)

About the Position

Dinarys is an ecommerce development company helping retailers and brands across DACH, the UK, and the US build, scale, and optimize their digital commerce solutions. We specialize in custom ecommerce development, architecture consulting, integrations, composable commerce, and long-term technology partnerships.

We're looking for a Frontend Developer (Next.js) to join our engineering team and build modern, high-performance ecommerce experiences. You'll work on international projects using modern frontend technologies and headless CMS platforms, collaborating closely with designers, backend engineers, and solution architects.

Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial frontend development experience.
• Strong experience with React.js and Next.js.
• Hands-on experience with Contentful and/or Storyblok.
• Experience integrating REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and responsive design.
• Understanding of Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), and Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR).
• Experience optimizing web performance, SEO, and Core Web Vitals.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong understanding of component-based architecture and frontend best practices.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modern web applications using Next.js and React.
• Build responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces.
• Integrate headless CMS platforms, including Contentful and Storyblok.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Implement reusable UI components and scalable frontend architecture.
• Optimize application performance, SEO, Core Web Vitals, and page loading speed.
• Work closely with UX/UI designers to deliver pixel-perfect user experiences.
• Participate in technical planning, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues across browsers and devices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following modern development best practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, commercetools, SCAYLE, BigCommerce, or Adobe Commerce.
• Experience working with composable commerce architectures.
• Knowledge of Tailwind CSS or modern UI component libraries.
• Experience with Vercel deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Experience working in Agile development teams.
