About the Position
Frontend Developer (Middle/Senior)
alkima WEB & DESIGN ® is seeking a Frontend Developer to work on digital products-from informational websites to complex web applications. We expect practical experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or others), knowledge of responsive design principles, and an understanding of UX basics.
In the team, technical accuracy, initiative, and communication skills are important. Your code will be part of a system that we develop together: with clear tasks, constructive feedback, and the opportunity to influence the final result.
Responsibilities
- Support key products and features throughout the project lifecycle.
- Create reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX design and collaborate with designers.
- Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability.
- Collaborate with other team members to make decisions about planning, design, and architecture.
- Participate in training to master new technologies and practices.
- Work with agile development processes.
- Provide recommendations to the development team leader and project manager to improve processes, systems, tools, and job descriptions based on the experience of specific programs or projects.
- Assist in project management, which involves proposals for design, development, and testing processes.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience as a frontend developer or in a similar position.
- Experience working in a team.
- Deep knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Experience with preprocessors (SCSS / Sass / Less).
- Knowledge of modern interface design, responsive design, target devices, integration with third-party APIs and jQuery.
- Deep knowledge of JavaScript and related libraries and frameworks for development on various platforms.
- Experience with task managers (Gulp, Grunt, etc.).
- Experience with modular packages (Browserify, Webpack, etc.).
- Experience developing responsive websites (mobile-first).
- Experience creating single-page applications (SPA).
- Intermediate level of spoken and written English.
Nice to Have
- Personal portfolio of completed projects / products or links to GitHub / CodePen / JSFiddle / StackOverflow accounts, etc.
- Basic understanding of working with databases.
- Previous experience developing progressive web applications (Progressive Web Apps).
- Experience with modern interface frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or AngularJS.
- Experience with the Agile approach (including Scrum).
- Strong communication skills: ability to clearly express your thoughts in both written and spoken form; ability to create technical specifications and documentation; effective communication both within the team and between groups.
