About the Position

Frontend Product Engineer to Bryntum

What do UEFA's Euro championship, Red Bull's marketing operations, and Coca-Cola's production planning have in common?

They are all powered by Bryntum's JavaScript components.

Our components (Gantt, Scheduler, Calendar, Grid) live embedded in business-critical systems at 5,000 companies across 80 countries. That puts extreme demands on every release, every API decision, and every trade-off.

Bryntum is now looking for a Frontend Product Engineer who understands exactly what that means and wants to own those decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Shape product strategy, prioritization, and backlog ownership.
  • Engage in hands-on frontend development.
  • Translate feedback from our developer community into meaningful improvements.
  • Build a tighter feedback loop directly with customers to understand their actual usage and experience of our product.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience as a frontend developer, with strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
  • Experience taking product ownership, shaping requirements, prioritizing work, and driving technical decisions.
  • Experience with API design and backwards compatibility.
  • Experience leading technical customer conversations and product discussions in English.
  • Strong written communication skills: specs, product documentation, and clear requirements.

Nice to Have

  • Experience from an SDK or component library company is a plus.
  • Comfort and ambition around modern AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Codex.
  • Fluent English, Swedish is a plus.

We Offer

  • 6 weeks of vacation
  • ITP pension and insurance
  • Wellness allowance
  • Freedom with responsibility. You own your day as long as the work gets done.
  • Hybrid model with a Stockholm hub at Epicenter.
  • One joint team trip per year where the whole organization comes together.
