NorthStar Systems - Full Stack Developer

About the Position

NorthStar Systems is seeking a Full Stack Developer with a backend focus in Java and distributed systems to join their team in Aarhus, Denmark. Build scalable, data-intensive platforms with Kafka, Docker & Kubernetes-own solutions end-to-end in a high-impact environment.

Responsibilities

• Ingesting, processing, and exposing data through APIs across a distributed, streaming architecture.
• Services are containerised and deployed via Docker and Kubernetes, with observability handled through Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
• Occasionally taking on frontend work to carry features across the finish line.
• Interacting directly with international technical partners who build on top of the platform.

Requirements

• Solid backend background, ideally in Java or a comparable ecosystem.
• Experience in systems more complex than standard applications.
• Willingness to step outside your primary area, take responsibility for complete solutions, and collaborate closely to get things done.
