Full-Stack Developer

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer who is proficient with the Magento platform to join our international team. This role can be performed either remotely or from our office in Kyiv, Ukraine. The proficiency level (Junior, Middle, or Senior Web Developer) will be determined during the interview. Candidates are expected to provide examples of their work and live links to previously developed sites, if available.

Responsibilities

• Develop on new and existing client projects built using the Magento platform
• Architect and write custom extensions
• Build efficient, testable, and reusable code
• Identify quality community extensions and optimize production efforts
• Maintain high performing codebases and solve complex performance problems
• Support architecting and estimating new Magento tasks & projects
• Communicate and collaborate with developers on the team
• Develop solutions within given time frames
• Communicate with Project Manager about any issues or concerns
• Work with LAMP development environment and version control (GIT / SVN)

You can also be involved in the process of launching a project to create a new eCommerce business solution using Magento 2.x.

Requirements

Basic Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years PHP web development experience
• Minimum of 1-2 years real-world e-commerce experience with Magento development
• Competent with PHP object-oriented programming & MVC applications
• Competent with MySQL-based database concepts
• Familiarity with automated deployment strategies
• A positive and upbeat attitude
• Excellent written and spoken English
