About the Position

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer with 5+ years of experience in React and TypeScript to join our team in Mexico City, Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of features, act as an individual contributor, delivering high-impact code across both front-end and back-end repositories.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Requirements

• Core Skills:
  • Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience designing, building, and maintaining responsive, performant web applications using React and TypeScript.
  • Core Frontend Skills: At least 5+ years of experience in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Backend Expertise: Strong, hands-on experience building scalable RESTful APIs using Java 17+ and Spring Boot within a microservices architecture.
  • Database & Storage: Proven experience working with relational databases and writing efficient SQL (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, etc.).
  • State Management: Experience with state management libraries; exposure to MobX reactive patterns, observables, and computed values in large-scale applications is a major plus.
  • Architecture & UI: Ability to architect reusable, well-tested component libraries, design systems, and integrate UI/UX designs into clean, maintainable code.
  • Code Quality: Modern software development habits: writing well-documented code, championing code quality through peer reviews, and identifying/resolving end-to-end performance bottlenecks or bugs.
  • Tools & Workflow: Proficient with version control tools (Git, Bitbucket, GitLab) and comfortable working within Agile/Scrum environments using Jira.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; highly motivated team player who thrives when working independently.
  • Mentorship & Innovation: Willingness to mentor junior developers and stay up to date with emerging trends across both the Java and JavaScript ecosystems.
