Job description
Full-Stack Engineer (NestJS / Next.js)
Published: 12 Oct, 2026
About the Position
We are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer (NestJS / Next.js) to join our team and help create an AI-driven recruitment SaaS from scratch. This role is remote and based in Europe, Ukraine.
About the Project
Our client is building an end-to-end recruitment platform for its own client. The platform covers the full hiring cycle: capturing client requirements, validating and posting jobs to platforms, and evaluating candidates semantically against job descriptions. The platform also handles AI-driven communication between candidates and recruiters, interview notes and sentiment analysis, negotiation, onboarding, and payroll.
Your Impact
This role lays the foundation of a new product. The architecture, data model, and core services built now will define how the platform grows after the MVP. The work spans the whole application, from a reliable, secure back end that handles concurrency, long-running workflows, and multi-tenant boundaries, to a data-heavy front end that makes complex hiring workflows clear for users. It also connects the core application with the AI services that make the platform intelligent.
Responsibilities
- Implement super admin, admin, and role management, authentication, subscriptions, and payments; enforce RBAC/ABAC and tenant boundaries with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and Microsoft Entra ID
- Build reusable TypeScript components, SSR/CSR, and state management, responsive and accessible UI, and data-heavy forms, tables, and document views
- Build modular NestJS services with validated inputs, server-side business rules, and authorization, and versioned API contracts
- Design PostgreSQL schemas, constraints, indexes, and migrations; handle transaction isolation, optimistic concurrency, and locking; tune queries with execution plans; implement audit/version history and data import with reconciliation
- Work with message queues and durable workflow engines, using transactional outbox, idempotent consumers, retries, dead-letter queues, and replay; build long-running tasks, timers, and approvals
- Build adapters for job platforms, external APIs, webhooks, and Python AI services, handling auth, versioned contracts, timeouts, rate limits, and reconciliation
- Write unit, integration, API-contract, and e2e tests; take part in code review and CI; add structured logs, metrics, and traces; support load testing, UAT, and production
Requirements
- 4+ years of commercial experience as a Full-Stack Engineer
- Strong in TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS
- Deep expertise in React and Next.js
- Strong PostgreSQL skills: transactions, concurrency, query optimization, and migrations
- Hands-on with REST APIs, webhooks, and message queues, and confident handling failures in distributed systems
- Proven experience building secure multi-user, multi-tenant SaaS applications
- Solid understanding of OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect
- Hands-on with automated testing: unit, integration, and e2e
- Practical experience with Docker
Nice to Have
- Azure: Service Bus, Blob Storage, Managed Redis, API Management
- Microsoft Entra ID
- Prisma, GraphQL
- Temporal or another durable workflow engine
- Integrating Python services
- Azure AI Search / OpenSearch
- RDF / SPARQL
We Offer
- Competitive salary with regular reviews
- Vacation (up to 20 working days)
- Sick leave (10 working days)
- National holidays as time off
- Flexible working schedule, remote format
- Direct cooperation with the customer
- Dynamic environment with a low level of bureaucracy and great team spirit
- Challenging projects in diverse business domains and a variety of tech stacks
- Communication with top/senior-level specialists to strengthen your hard skills
