About the Position

Full-Stack Engineer (Node+Angular)

We are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Engineer with 3+ years of experience in Node.js and Angular to join our team in a remote role. You will be responsible for building scalable systems and contributing to a modern Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) platform.

About the Product

Introduction

Our partner is a product company from the Netherlands that develops a modern Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) platform for automating risk management, compliance, and internal control processes. The project involves a large-scale upgrade and expansion of the existing platform with a transition to an API-first architecture, ensuring flexibility, scalability, and easy integration with other systems. The platform is developed entirely in TypeScript using a modern cloud-agnostic and containerized approach.

The team works using Agile processes with clearly defined tasks from domain experts, code review practices, Azure DevOps pipelines, SonarCloud security analysis, and Prometheus-based monitoring.

Technology Stack

Technical stack: TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, Angular, REST APIs, SQL, NoSQL, OAuth, WebSockets, Azure AI, Google Maps, Docker, Azure DevOps

Nice to have: Event-Driven Architecture, Prometheus, SonarCloud, Container Orchestration Platforms

Your Team

You will join a cross-functional product team that includes Backend Developers, Frontend Developers, QA Engineers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Domain Experts.

The team works using the Agile methodology, holds daily stand-ups, and actively collaborates between technical and business stakeholders. All documentation, backlog, and communication are conducted in English.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.
Develop and maintain frontend functionality in Angular.
Design and develop REST APIs according to the API-first architecture principles.
Participate in architectural discussions and technical decisions.
Work with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms based on OAuth.
Develop functionality using WebSockets.
Integrate external services, including Azure AI and Google Maps.
Write unit tests and maintain high code quality.
Collaborate with QA, Product, and Engineering teams.
Participate in code reviews and improve technical processes.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in Node.js and Angular development.
Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
Practical experience with NestJS.
Experience in Angular development.
Experience in creating and maintaining REST APIs.
Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
Understanding of OAuth and modern authentication mechanisms.
Experience in writing unit tests.
Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of scalable system architecture.
Experience working in Agile teams.
English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher.
