Full-stack Engineer (Python + GCP)

About the Position

Join Xebia as a Full-stack Engineer (Python + GCP) focusing on building scalable, high-performing LLM capabilities that integrate seamlessly into business workflows. We build tools and frameworks that make it easy for teams to tap into the power of LLMs on their own. The goal is to stay ahead of emerging trends and ensure our solutions remain innovative while directly aligned with the evolving needs of the business.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services
• Write clean, maintainable code
• Collaborate with frontend team
• Build and maintain platform capabilities and APIs to a high quality level
• Work from conception to delivery
• Use infrastructure as code for project implementation
• Continuously learn new concepts and improve work processes

Requirements

• Mid-senior level experience
• Professional experience in a server-side language - Python
• Professional experience building Platform capabilities and APIs to a high quality level
• Comfortable working as part of a team
• Solid experience with GCP
• Solid experience with MLOps
• Practical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve productivity, quality, or decision-making in software delivery
• Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required

Nice to Have

• Experience applying GenAI in a more structured way within the SDLC, including defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations embedded into daily work
• Interest in and familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices (e.g. agent-based workflows, automation patterns, AI-augmented development), with a willingness to explore and experiment beyond standard approaches
