Full-Stack Engineer (Python+React)

About the Position

Join our team as a Full-Stack Engineer and play a key role in enhancing and evolving HedgeX - an advanced algotrading and hedging platform - by delivering scalable, high-performance solutions that enable real-time decision-making in power and gas trading.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and extend algorithmic trading strategies in close collaboration with the product team, ensuring reliability, scalability, and accuracy.
• Enhance the React-based frontend to support advanced customization, real-time data streaming, and new user workflows.
• Evaluate, select, and implement modern streaming technologies to power low-latency data pipelines.
• Build and optimize execution strategies for power and gas markets, including spread trading, automated hedging triggers (e.g., VWAP), and storage optimization logic.
• Develop a scalable architecture for onboarding new strategies and expanding system capabilities.
• Create a high-performance streaming service capable of delivering continuous live data to applications.
• Contribute to end-to-end development, including testing, deployment, documentation, and monitoring.
• Collaborate within an international team, ensuring alignment, code quality, and technical excellence.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Python for backend or algorithmic logic development.
• Solid proficiency with React for building modern, responsive, and data-intensive frontends.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Azure, and Kubernetes for cloud-native application deployment and orchestration.
• Understanding of streaming technologies and experience integrating real-time data feeds.
• Familiarity with trading systems, energy markets, or algorithmic hedging concepts (a strong plus).
• Ability to work independently in a distributed, remote environment with excellent communication skills.
