Full Stack Ruby On Rails Developer

About the Position

Join our team as a Full Stack Ruby on Rails Developer, where you'll work on both backend and frontend, optimize performance, and contribute to real-time features.

Responsibilities

• Work on both backend and frontend, seeing features through from start to finish
• Develop using full stack Rails and be familiar with the latest Rails technologies (e.g., Rails 7, Turbo)
• Implement performance optimization techniques for both backend (e.g., database query optimization, background jobs) and frontend (e.g., efficient rendering, reducing re-renders)
• Develop real-time broadcasting features, understanding the challenges and solutions related to real-time data updates and user interactions
• Apply a pragmatic approach to testing, focusing on key areas while balancing the need for rapid development
• Think holistically about the product, not just the code, and have a strong understanding of the product’s business needs and user experience
• Contribute to different aspects of the product, from customer support to feature development
• Work in a small team with a high degree of independence and trust
• Collaborate with both in-house team members and freelancers
• Learn and use different tools as needed
• Work with various front-end frameworks and libraries, adaptable to new and evolving technologies

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience working on Rails 7 apps
• Proficiency in frontend framework: Stimulus.js
• UI: Tailwind CSS
• Database: Postgres
• Curiosity to work with leading AI systems
