Fullstack Developer

About the Position

Playtech's IMS Engagement Unit is looking for a self-motivated Fullstack Developer with strong attention to detail and excellent collaboration skills. This is a temporary position (Military Service Cover).

Responsibilities

• Work with a complex codebase that includes multiple Java versions and various architectural patterns.
• Maintain and update legacy while preserving functionality.
• Develop new features based on business requirements.
• Write comprehensive tests for new and old functionality.
• Debug and fix reported issues across the system.
• Perform root cause analysis for critical bugs.
• Monitor and optimize system performance.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain code quality standards.

Requirements

• Approximately 3 years of experience as a Fullstack Developer or several years of experience in Java development.
• Strong background in Java development and front-end development using React with TypeScript.
• Strong expertise in application performance optimization and database query optimization.
• Proficient in modern software design patterns and best practices to create scalable, maintainable, and high-performing applications.
• Experience with performance monitoring tools and profiling techniques.
• Experience in maintaining and modernizing legacy systems.
• Knowledgeable in Hibernate, JDBC, MariaDB, Kafka, Docker, Maven.
• Understand GIT flow (pull requests, branches, etc.).
• Skilled with front-end tools and technologies: TypeScript, React, Redux, ES2020, HTML5, SCSS.
• Experience with MaterialUI, Webpack, Jest.
• Excel in collaboration and teamwork, are self-motivated, and pay attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Additional experience in software development.
• Familiarity with other front-end frameworks.
