We are looking for a Fullstack Developer to join our international tech team in Wrocław, Poland. This role involves working on a key SaaS platform used by thousands of users globally, focusing on laboratory data management, research process automation, and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing web applications using Ruby on Rails
• Creating and developing platform APIs
• Implementing new functionalities and developing existing modules
• Ensuring code quality (tests, maintenance, refactoring)
• Collaborating with the product team and business stakeholders
• Participating in architecture design and technology decision-making
• Optimizing system performance and scalability
• Utilizing AI tools to support the development process (e.g., code review, code generation, testing)
• Working in an Agile environment with an international team

Requirements

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Fullstack Developer in creating web applications using Ruby on Rails or another mature MVC framework (e.g., Django, Laravel, ASP.NET MVC), with a willingness to quickly adapt to Ruby on Rails
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Knowledge of API design and integration
• Experience with AWS and CI/CD
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• English proficiency at least at the B2 level
• Ability to work in a team and communicate in an international environment
• Independence and responsibility for assigned tasks
• Willingness to work on-site during onboarding (first 2 weeks)

Desirable:

• Experience with Hotwire or React
• Experience with Docker, MySQL, ElasticSearch
• Experience in SaaS projects
• Experience with AI tools supporting development
• Knowledge of the life science domain
• Higher education in natural sciences

A. Maintaining the Power Media Candidate Database and conducting recruitment processes: creating your candidate profile, evaluating qualifications, matching your candidacy with our clients' job offers (including the recruitment you are applying for), and maintaining contact. Legal basis: Your voluntary consent to be included in the candidate database (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR). Retention period: 24 months from the date of application or until you withdraw your consent.

B. Formal verification of candidate availability with the Client: providing the Client with minimal data (e.g., name and surname) to exclude situations where you have previously applied to that Client or through another agency. Legal basis: Legitimate interest of our company and the Client (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) to verify the absence of disputes and avoid duplicate applications. Retention period: Until the verification is completed.

C. Submission of your full application to a specific Employer: sending your CV to a selected Client after verifying their identity and obtaining your confirmation of interest in participating in the process with that specific employer. Legal basis: Your separate consent indicating the specific employer by name (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR). Retention period: Until the application is submitted to the Client (further retention by the Client is governed by its own data protection policy).

D. Defense against claims and dispute resolution: legal protection of the Company related to the provision of recruitment services. Legal basis: Our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR). Retention period: Until the expiration of any potential claims under applicable law.

Voluntary nature of data provision:

Providing personal data is entirely voluntary but necessary to register a profile in the Power Media candidate database and present your candidacy to potential employers. You can withdraw your consent at any time (e.g., by sending an email to [email protected]), which does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before its withdrawal.

Data recipients:

Your personal data may be disclosed to:

1. Clients of the Agency (Potential Employers): in the minimal scope (name and surname) to verify the absence of duplicate applications (based on our legitimate interest), and in the full scope of the CV – only after disclosing the full name of the Client to you and obtaining separate consent. Once full data is transferred, the Client becomes an independent data controller of your personal data.
2. Technology service providers: entities processing data on our behalf (e.g., providers of recruitment management systems – ATS, hosting, and email).
3. Public authorities: institutions authorized by law.

Candidate rights:

You have the right to access your data, rectification, erasure ("right to be forgotten"), restriction of processing, data portability, objection to processing based on legitimate interest, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

Profiling and international transfers:

As part of the candidate database, the Company may use ancillary profiling (evaluation of skills, education, and experience against criteria specified in client job offers). This profiling does not produce legal effects or fully automated decisions (the final decision to contact is always made by a recruiter). Your personal data will not be transferred to third countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
