About the Position
Position Description:
Do you enjoy playing Minecraft and also find coding and teaching fun? At Kodland, you can contribute to children’s creativity, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and help them become creators in the digital world by teaching block-based coding and basic programming concepts through Minecraft: Education Edition. If you are energetic, patient, and enjoy communicating with children, this role is perfect for you!
Responsibilities
- Deliver fun and interactive Minecraft coding lessons using the provided materials.
- Help students understand the fundamentals of coding through Microsoft MakeCode.
- Encourage active participation and keep students motivated throughout the lessons.
- Collaborate with the Kodland instructor team by sharing feedback and improving lesson quality.
- Regularly report on student progress.
- Represent Kodland in a positive manner and creatively contribute to the learning experience.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of coding (experience with block-based platforms such as Scratch is a plus).
- Prior experience playing Minecraft.
- An English proficiency of at least B2.
- Availability to teach at least 10 hours per week.
- Willingness to work with children; patient, energetic, and enthusiastic.
- Successful completion of a digital skills test to demonstrate your coding abilities is required.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Microsoft MakeCode.
