Are you ready to play a key role in one of the most ambitious cloud transformations within the energy sector?
As a GCP Engineer Consultant, you will help a leading organization modernize and migrate over 50 business-critical applications to a future-proof Cloud Native environment on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
You will combine hands-on application management of existing PHP/Symfony systems with the design and implementation of GCP solutions. This makes you a crucial link between development, operations, and cloud architecture.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the migration of legacy applications to GCP (Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Optimizing and managing existing PHP/Symfony applications during the transition period
- Developing CI/CD pipelines and automation solutions
- Advising on cloud architecture, security, and best practices within GCP
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (DevOps, architects, security, data)
- Actively contributing to the Cloud Center of Excellence
Requirements
- HBO/WO work and thinking level
- Experience with PHP (preferably Symfony)
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GKE, Cloud SQL, IAM, Pub/Sub, etc.)
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Deployment Manager)
- Strong affinity with cloud migrations and modernization projects
- Proactive consultant mentality: you advise and execute
