About the Position
General Ledger Specialist, Italy
Location: Milan, Italy
Employment Type: Full-time (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking a talented General Ledger Specialist to join Cedacri’s Finance team in Milan. Selected candidates will be part of a dynamic, innovative environment and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support high-quality financial reporting and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely general ledger accounting in compliance with OIC and IFRS standards
- Record, classify, and reconcile financial transactions
- Support monthly and annual closing processes
- Contribute to the preparation of statutory and consolidated financial statements
- Collaborate with auditors, consultants, tax authorities, and internal stakeholders
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and process improvement opportunities
- Support the implementation and optimization of ERP systems and accounting procedures (SAP preferred)
- Contribute to HR-related accounting activities (e.g., payroll postings)
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance (preferably with honors)
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting and tax, preferably in structured environments or consulting firms (Big 4)
- In-depth knowledge of Italian accounting principles (OIC) and international standards (IFRS)
- Strong understanding of Italian tax regulations
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
- Accuracy, analytical skills, and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Fluency in Italian and good knowledge of English
