For the strengthening of the General Ledger function within Cedacri’s companies, part of ION Group, we are looking for talented professionals to grow their career as General Ledger Specialist. This position is targeted at candidates with 3–5 years of relevant experience in the field. Responsibilities
As a General Ledger Specialist, you will ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial accounting processes. Your key duties and responsibilities include:
- Ensuring accurate and timely general ledger accounting in compliance with OIC and IFRS standards
- Recording, classifying, and reconciling financial transactions
- Supporting monthly and annual closing processes
- Contributing to the preparation of statutory and consolidated financial statements
- Collaborating with auditors, consultants, tax authorities, and internal stakeholders
- Analyzing financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and process improvement opportunities
- Supporting the implementation and optimization of ERP systems and accounting procedures (SAP preferred)
- Contributing to HR-related accounting activities (e.g., payroll postings)
You may be asked to support additional finance-related tasks as your role evolves.
Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance (preferably with honors)
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in accounting and tax, preferably in structured environments or consulting firms (Big 4)
- Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of Italian accounting principles (OIC) and international standards (IFRS)
- Strong understanding of Italian tax regulations
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
- Accuracy, analytical skills, and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Languages: Fluency in Italian and good knowledge of English

- Gross Annual Salary (RAL) ranging from €40,000 to €50,000, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications
- Job grade to be determined upon completion of the selection process, with final assessment between B2 and B3 level
