AQA Engineer (Playwright)

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced AQA Engineer (Playwright) to join our team in a fully remote role, focusing on developing an automation framework. QA Madness is a European IT service company founded in 2013, headquartered in Poland, and trusted by clients across Europe for software QA and cybersecurity services. We have helped teams in aviation, fintech, and other industries build reliable automation frameworks since our founding.

Responsibilities

• Execute automation test suite and analyze/report results
• Manual testing with existing test cases
• Plan and describe test scenarios for future automation in cooperation with colleagues
• Implement new automation tests
• Participate in team meetings to discuss task implementation details from a QA perspective
• Create detailed testing documentation to grow the internal knowledge base
• Search and try new testing solutions that can bring benefits
• Be part of a full-stack development team
• Look for new approaches in automation and apply best practices

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in manual and automation testing
• General knowledge and practical experience writing web automation using JavaScript
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and experience with Playwright and WebDriver.io
• Knowledge and experience working with k6
• Experience with web testing frameworks and tools
• Understanding of software development processes, QA stages, concepts, and methodologies
• Experience in test case development, execution, and maintenance
• Experience with CI/CD tools
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, attention to detail
• Willingness to collaborate – ask for help and support teammates
• Knowledge and experience with Appium for mobile automation
• Upper-Intermediate English level
