Our Construction Materials Testing (CMT) division supports critical infrastructure, mining, and construction projects through reliable, NATA accredited testing in line with Australian and international standards.

Put your construction materials testing expertise to work in a varied role where no two days are the same. We are seeking a capable Geotechnician to deliver accurate, efficient, and high-quality testing services across laboratory and field environments in Kalgoorlie.

Responsibilities

• Collect, log, and prepare construction material samples for testing
• Complete routine laboratory and field testing to relevant standards
• Set up, calibrate, and maintain testing equipment
• Interpret work instructions, select suitable procedures and equipment, and follow client test requests
• Analyse test data, prepare reports, and issue completed results to customers
• Book client jobs, send confirmations, and communicate with clients
• Maintain clean work areas and follow safe working practices
• Report hazards and contribute to continuous laboratory improvement
• Support and develop Assistant Geotechnicians and Technical Assistants

Requirements

• Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques or a Civil Engineering qualification
• Current unrestricted WA C Class driver's licence
• Previous experience in a laboratory environment
• Approved NATA Signatory status in rocks, aggregate, concrete, or masonry
