About the Position

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to manage and maintain software installation environments, ensuring smooth certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for estimating, planning, and executing installation orders.
• Configure and update installable packages for applications to allow certification of installed software.
• Manage assigned resources and their maintenance, and resolve issues that arise in the installation of software packages in certification environments.
• Report timely on execution, progress, problems, and risks detected in the installation, as well as record and document the problems and their resolution.
• Prepare, configure, and make available testing environments (HW/SW and infrastructure) on the required date for use in the certification of projects, on time and in form.
• Perform tasks specified in the certification process, according to the methodology indicated by Telefónica (Tools, technology).
• Identify potential conflicts in project planning during PI Planning sessions.
• Transfer knowledge between peers and to users.
• Responsible for supporting technical validations when blocking defects are found in project support.
• Follow up and prepare tickets generated during test execution that are associated with test environments.
• Resolve problems during test execution.

Requirements

• Graduated from a university degree in Systems or related fields.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing and resolving issues in pre-production environments.
• Experience working under traditional waterfall and Scrum frameworks.
• Knowledge of Oracle DB, SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
• Experience working with continuous integration applications such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps.
• Experience in problem analysis and API validation such as Humio, LogDNA, etc.
• Experience working with requirements management tools such as Remedy.
• Experience working with environment monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, etc.
• Experience working with quality management tools: Quality Center, Jira, Xray, etc.
