GIS Application Developer

About the Position

We are seeking a GIS Application Developer for a Contract position with Internal Postings in Tampa, FL. This role requires a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in GIS application development.

Responsibilities

• Develop GIS applications using the latest ArcGIS Software, FME, PLSQL, Python, and JavaScript.
• Work with ArcGIS Suites including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcSDE, ArcGIS Web API’s & SDK’s.
• Integrate and process spatial data transformations using FME Form and FME Flow.
• Automate geoprocessing tasks with Python scripts using ArcPy & ArcGIS API for Python.
• Develop GIS web applications using JavaScript API’s.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries using PLSQL for Oracle & SQL Server Databases.
• Work with GIS web services, including REST and SOAP APIs.
• Use different IDE’s for code development and version control like Azure Repos, Git, or similar.
• Apply knowledge on Oracle Spatial, Artificial Intelligence (AI) implementation in GIS, MicroStation, and Autodesk GIS products.
• Familiarize with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Requirements

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in GIS application development.
• Bachelor's or Master of Engineering in a related field.
• Proficiency in PL SQL, GIS ETL, ArcGIS, FME, ArcPy, ArcGIS API for Python, JavaScript, SQL, Oracle Spatial, Artificial Intelligence, MicroStation, and Agile.
