Senior HR Operations / Global Employment Specialist

About the Position

We are looking for a Senior HR Operations / Global Employment Specialist to join our team remotely in Ukraine. You will ensure our processes and contracts are compliant with local regulations as we scale. You will be a dedicated point of contact for all employment and migration matters across locations we hire in, with specific requirements from an Employment and Compliance perspective, and take part in new locations set up.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive HR support: resolve employment-related queries, manage paperwork, and process leave requests timely and efficiently
• Coordinate with Employer of Record (EORs), legal advisors, and immigration consultants to ensure compliance with local laws
• Set up new hiring locations, ensuring adherence to local regulations
• Maintain our HRIS and ensure data accuracy
• Coordinate and arrange visas, work permits, and provide internal consultations on immigration matters
• Support internal teams in audit and tender processes
• Contribute to compliance gaps analysis across locations and support solutions implementation
• Develop an internal knowledge base on employment law, internal policies, and practices

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in People Operations, Global Employment, or related fields
• B2+ English proficiency
• Demonstrated expertise in official employment operations
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with providers and partners
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail, adaptability, and consistency in work
• Ability to create clear, readable, and user-friendly policies and guides

Nice to Have

• Background in Legal / Global Mobility / Tax / Accounting
• Experience managing visa and work permit processes
• Experience of cooperation with EoRs
