Global Safety, Health and Environmental Manager

About the Position

We are partnering with a leading global manufacturing organization to identify a strategic and highly experienced Global Safety, Health and Environmental Manager. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading the compliance and excellence agenda across manufacturing, logistics, sourcing, and sustainability activities within your regional scope. You will also play a highly visible role in designing and developing global safety, health and environment Objectives, Strategy, Standards, and Systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive deployment and ensure full compliance with internal standards and applicable legislation across all locations within your scope.
• Lead routines, culture, mindset, and behaviors concerning Safety & Health and Environment & Circular Economy.
• Provide technical expertise and act as a coach to both functional and operational leaders.
• Define, lead, and manage the deployment of the Safety, Health & Environment strategic and excellence programs within the region.
• Drive behavioral changes by implementing robust improvement programs, sharing lessons learned, and investigating incidents in a timely manner.
• Support site teams with risk management, management of change, and priority setting.
• Participate in and organize audits, analyze the results, and rigorously follow up on corrective actions.
• Actively contribute to the building and continuous improvement of a global "Go for Zero Accidents and Zero Impact" strategy.
• Support local sites with emergency response and crisis management.
• Monitor safety, health and environment performance and follow up on Capex investments to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or an equivalent field.
• 10+ years of relevant working experience within a manufacturing environment with at least 5 years of leadership experience.
• Preferably candidates with regional exposure.

• Competitive salary: S$12,000 - S$15,000 per month
• AWS + Variable Bonus
• Permanent full-time position
