We are seeking a Senior Specialist – Cluster Manager for Polish Basalt Technologies to join our team in Warsaw, Poland, managing cluster operations and coordinating member collaboration.

In connection with the management of the Polish Basalt Technologies Cluster, we are looking for a person to manage the cluster operations and coordinate its members. The role includes management, organizational, and communication activities, as well as cooperation with business, science, and administration. Experience in cluster initiatives, partnerships, or project management is an advantage. Additionally, the employee will actively participate in analytical and research work related to the market of new technologies and innovations conducted at the Center for Analysis and Technology Development.

Responsibilities

• Supervising the cluster's ongoing activities, ensuring the implementation of established plans, and ensuring smooth information flow between partners and regular reporting on ongoing activities.
• Actively seeking new entities interested in cooperation, integrating current cluster members, and organizing networking meetings.
• Building a positive image of the organization in contacts with public institutions, local governments, and other industry entities. Participation in industry and regional events.
• Monitoring general trends in the technology sector and available support programs for clusters and enterprises.
• Conducting research and analysis on the market for new technologies and innovations, analyzing the impact of new technologies on the economy and society, and assessing risks associated with the implementation of new technologies.
• Preparing and publishing expert reports, scientific and analytical works.
• Presenting the results of work and analysis at national and international conferences, seminars, and expert debates.
• Collaborating on the organization of conferences, symposia, expert debates, study visits, and scientific internships.
• Collaborating with business entities, public sector entities, and non-governmental organizations in the scope of research and development work.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements:

• Senior Specialist: Higher education (master's degree) and 2 years of experience in the research and development sector. Additional requirements: Meeting at least 2 of the following criteria: 1) Active participation in at least 2 scientific conferences, industry conferences, seminars, or expert debates of national or international scope (e.g., poster presentation, conference speech, participation in a panel discussion), 2) Participation in the implementation of at least 2 scientific or research and development projects or projects promoting and popularizing knowledge as a member of the research team (executor or project manager), 3) Authorship or co-authorship of at least 3 scientific publications (including at least 2 publications in indexed journals) or at least 3 industry reports, analytical documents, policy papers, technical studies, or other types of analyses resulting from cooperation with public administration, social organizations, or business partners, 4) Membership in at least 1 national or international scientific organization, committee, or expert team, 5) Research internship or stay in a foreign research or analytical-advisory center lasting at least 1 month.
• Chief Specialist: Higher education (master's degree) and 3 years of experience in the research and development sector, including participation in the implementation of research projects. Additional requirements: Meeting at least 3 of the following criteria: 1) Active participation in at least 3 scientific conferences, industry conferences, seminars, or expert debates of international scope (e.g., poster presentation, conference speech, participation in a panel discussion), 2) Participation in the implementation of at least 3 scientific or research and development projects as a member of the research team (executor or project manager), 3) Securing funding for at least 1 scientific or research and development project from domestic or international sources, 4) Authorship or co-authorship of at least 3 scientific publications (including at least 2 publications in indexed journals) or at least 3 industry reports, analytical documents, policy papers, technical studies, or other types of analyses resulting from cooperation with public administration, social organizations, or business partners, 5) Membership in at least 1 national or international scientific organization, committee, or expert team, 6) Publication of a monograph in a publishing house with at least level I on the list of publishing houses publishing peer-reviewed scientific monographs, 7) Obtaining a domestic or international scientific scholarship (e.g., NAWA, Fulbright, Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, ERC, NCN), 8) At least 1 award or recognition for scientific research (e.g., institutional awards, industry awards, scholarships for young scientists, recognitions in scientific competitions), 9) Research internship or stay in a foreign research or analytical center lasting at least 1 month.
• Higher education, graduates of management, economics, administration, social sciences, and technical fields are welcome.
• Knowledge of English at level B2.
• Ability to plan work, manage time, and coordinate multiple processes simultaneously.
• Ease in establishing contacts, high personal culture, and ability to conduct conversations with partners of diverse profiles (business, science, administration).
• Willingness to learn the general specifics of the materials industry to the extent that allows for free communication with partners.
