About the Position

Go/PHP Backend Developer

We are seeking an experienced backend developer to join our infrastructure team on a high-load (200k RPS) project with a modern and evolving technology stack.

Responsibilities

• Work on infrastructure tasks
• Profiling and optimizing solutions
• Unit and API code coverage with tests
• Search for scaling solutions

Opportunities to apply knowledge to diverse tasks for a high-load product include:

• Separation of complex parts of the project into microservices in Golang
• Implementation of Event sourcing (Kafka)
• Universal implementation of ML/CV

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in PHP/Go development (current PHP version in the project is 8.2)
• Fluency in Go, PHP, and MySQL
• REST API design and implementation
• Understanding and ability to write unit and functional tests
• Practical experience in debugging, profiling, and optimizing PHP/Go code
• Understanding of the principles, pros, and cons of sharding and replication
• Ability to choose the right data structures for solving specific tasks

Nice to Have:

• Experience with microservices, Elasticsearch, Redis
