Responsibilities
As the Government Affairs Associate, you would be responsible for:
- Assisting the Government team in navigating the complex budgetary, regulatory, and policy landscape that affects the company's operations and vision.
- Supporting the identification and providing analysis to leadership on the federal budget process.
- Leveraging existing relationships within the different branches of government.
- Owning compliance-related operations of the Neros PAC.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in monitoring federal strategy, or related fields.
- Experience working in high-intensity environments.
- Ability to work closely with leadership in rapid iteration cycles.
- Exceptional communication skills with military and civilian stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the U.S. defense ecosystem, including DoD procurement, Congressional appropriations, and national security policy.
- Ability to translate complex technical issues into compelling policy narratives.
- Understanding of Political Action Committees.
Nice to Have
- Prior government or military experience.
- Proven track record monitoring DoD contracts.
- Active TS/SCI clearance, or ability to obtain one.
- Experience engaging with the government or military stakeholders.
US Salary Range
$80,000 - $130,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are considered part of Neros' total compensation package.
