About the Position

We are seeking a Government Relations (GR) Manager to join our defense holding in Kyiv, Ukraine. The role focuses on transforming the company’s engineering products and manufacturing capabilities into government solutions, approvals, contracts, and stable supply programs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the process of obtaining regulatory approvals and operational acceptance for the company’s entire product portfolio, ensuring successful completion of all required government procedures and approvals.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key government stakeholders and relevant institutions, representing the company’s interests and supporting matters related to product adoption and procurement.
  • Support the company’s participation in government procurement processes and interactions with relevant public authorities and defense procurement agencies.
  • Coordinate the preparation and submission of documentation required for regulatory approvals, certification processes, and cooperation with government customers.
  • Ensure effective communication with defense procurement agencies and other government institutions regarding documentation, approvals, and procedural matters.
  • Continuously monitor changes in legislation, government procedures, and regulatory requirements, providing timely updates to company leadership on their potential impact and emerging opportunities.
  • Coordinate collaboration between internal teams, including legal, technical, and other departments, to ensure the successful completion of government procedures and implementation of related initiatives.
  • Provide company leadership with up-to-date information on changes in government policy, support programs, funding opportunities, and other initiatives that may contribute to the company’s strategic development.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in GR, government structures, or the defense sector.
  • Deep understanding of procedures and regulations for commissioning military equipment.
  • Negotiation skills at the top-official level and the ability to advocate for product interests in complex bureaucratic environments.
  • English – B2+ (for working with international documentation and partners)

Will be a plus:

  • An established network of contacts in the relevant sector (MilTech).
  • Legal or management degree.
