About the Position
We are seeking a Senior GP Consultant with 5+ years of experience to provide support for Microsoft Dynamics GP in a fully remote, part-time contract role. The role offers a pay range of $50 to $60 USD per hour.
Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing support for Microsoft Dynamics GP.
- Troubleshoot and resolve GP-related issues across finance and accounting functions.
- Support users with posting, batch processing, and transaction-related errors.
- Diagnose issues involving customizations and third-party integrations.
- Analyze and troubleshoot SQL Server databases supporting GP.
- Create, review, and execute SQL scripts when necessary.
- Document solutions and recurring issues.
- Communicate directly with IT and business stakeholders.
- Provide recommendations to improve overall system stability and support processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Microsoft Dynamics GP experience.
- Strong experience supporting on-premises GP environments.
- Advanced SQL Server troubleshooting skills.
- Experience supporting customized GP environments.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience providing ad hoc production support.
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting ERP integrations.
- Background in manufacturing, distribution, or similar industries.
- Knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central migration paths.
- Familiarity with GP database architecture and reporting tools.
- Consulting or managed-services experience.
