Oak St. Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our team in Mineola, TX. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your pharmacy education in a real-world setting, supporting our pharmacy teams and contributing to our mission of improving healthcare.

Responsibilities

As a Graduate Pharmacy Intern, you will:

• Apply your pharmacy school knowledge to real-world practice.
• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations and patient safety.
• Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care.
• Offer counseling, field medical questions, and solicit patient medical history under supervision.
• Take telephonic prescriptions and clarify them with prescribers.
• Maintain inventory and complete basic inventory activities as permitted by law.
• Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical principles.
• Deliver additional patient health care services such as immunizations, where allowable by law.

Requirements

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
• Ability to become immunization certified.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
