Graduate ML Hardware Verification Engineer
Job description
About the Position
Put programming skills to work on real hardware challenges! At Arm, we’re looking for graduates who enjoy writing code, understanding how digital systems work and investigating unexpected behavior.
Our hardware verification team helps find design problems before they reach silicon. We work on neural accelerators for machine learning applications, combining software development with a detailed understanding of the hardware being tested.
Responsibilities
As a Graduate ML Hardware Verification Engineer, you could be doing:
- Working with verification and design engineers across our international design centers, turning specifications into tests, developing simulation testbenches, and investigating failures.
- Analyzing coverage data to identify behavior that still needs testing, then extending and refining tests to explore it.
- Building tools and automation to improve our verification flows.
- Learning new techniques, trying out ideas, and sharing what works to develop both our hardware and our ways of working.
Requirements
We are looking for individuals who:
- Hold, or are on track to hold, a university degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field by the program start date.
- Enjoy programming and writing clear, reliable code.
- Are curious about digital hardware and keen to learn how to verify it.
- Enjoy investigating problems and working out how complex systems behave.
- Can explain ideas and findings clearly, in writing and in discussions with colleagues.
Nice to Have
Qualities that will help your application stand out:
- Experience from coursework, university projects, or personal projects in digital hardware and a hardware description language.
- Experience with object-oriented programming and software frameworks.
- Knowledge of computer architecture.
We Offer
- Relocation support for domestic moves within Sweden and regional moves within Europe.
- Visa sponsorship support for candidates who require it.
- A starting salary of SEK 545,000 (Bachelor level) or SEK 555,000 (Master level), alongside a comprehensive rewards package.
- Opportunities for progression within the salary range at Arm with mid-year and year-end reviews.
- Access to “Grad-teach-Grads” workshops, guest speaker series, and social events.
- Invitation to the Global Graduate Conference (GGC), an annual event for graduates.
