About the Position

Kyiv School of Economics (KSE) - a leading educational and research center that combines academic excellence with practical solutions for society and business. KSE comprises four key business units: KSE University, offering international undergraduate and graduate programs; KSE Institute, a research center focusing on economics, politics, and business; KSE Foundation, implementing humanitarian and educational projects; and KSE Graduate Business School, providing MBA programs and corporate training.

Due to the development of grant programs at KSE University, we are opening a position for a Grant Manager. This key role involves supporting student grants, combining administration, financial control, and interaction with internal university departments. This position is suitable for a specialist who enjoys working with structured processes, is attentive to detail, can coordinate multiple directions simultaneously, and is eager to contribute to the development of accessible and quality education in Ukraine.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the full cycle of student grant support: record-keeping, documentation, and updating information throughout the entire period of study.
  • Maintaining records of grant-receiving students and tracking changes in their status (enrollment, academic leave, renewal, withdrawal, graduation).
  • Monitoring the fulfillment of grant agreement conditions by students and the university.
  • Monitoring the targeted use of grant funds in accordance with the terms of funding.
  • Communicating with charitable foundations to agree on lists of grantees, making changes, and providing information on the fulfillment of grant program conditions.
  • Interacting with financial, legal, grant departments, faculties, and other KSE teams.
  • Preparing regular financial reports for charitable foundations.
  • Maintaining and updating the grantee database.
  • Identifying potential risks of non-compliance with grant agreement terms and timely escalating them.

Requirements

  • Higher education (management, administration, project management, or related fields).
  • Experience of 1–2 years in grant management, administration of scholarship programs, or in a similar administrative position (experience in the educational or charitable sector is a plus).
  • Experience working with contracts and monitoring the fulfillment of their terms.
  • Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with databases or information systems is a plus.
  • Understanding of the basic principles of financial and legal support of contractual relations.
  • High level of communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, systematic approach, and responsibility in working with documentation.
  • English language proficiency at B1 level or higher.
