Grant Writer

About the Position

UNIT.City, the first innovation park in Ukraine, invites you to join our team as a Grant Writer. If you are proactive, have experience in actively attracting grants for projects, and a desire to work in the field of corporate innovation, IT, and startups, then this vacancy is for you.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly study and interpret the requirements, criteria, and procedures for each grant to ensure compliance of submitted projects with established standards.
• Create a detailed description of projects, defining their purpose and expected outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with funding requirements and criteria, including verification of formal and substantive requirements.
• Prepare and submit grant proposals in a timely manner.
• Collect, complete, and submit documentation for review.

Requirements

• Experience of at least 2 years in developing grant proposals.
• High proficiency in writing grant applications, reports, and other official documents. Ability to structure information and create meaningful and persuasive texts. Skills in data collection and analysis necessary for preparing grant applications.
• Understanding of the main aspects of the work of public organizations, charitable foundations.
• High level of written and verbal communication skills: ability to clearly and persuasively articulate thoughts both verbally and in writing.
• English language proficiency at least at the B2+ level. Experience working with foreign grantors.
• Time management and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in office software (MS Office, Google Docs, Notion).
• Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships in the environment of fundraisers and grant managers.
