About the Position
Guest Experience Intern - Atipico Madrid (m/f/d)
We are looking for a dynamic Guest Experience Intern to join our team at Atipico Madrid. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the hospitality industry and learn what it takes to deliver exceptional service and maximize guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-in and check-out to ensure smooth transitions.
- Handle reservations and room inventory to optimize occupancy and revenue.
- Work with internal teams to address guest requests and concerns in a timely manner.
- Arrange pre-arrival services for VIPs, corporate clients, and groups.
- Use analytical skills to track and optimize room inventory for new reservations.
- Find ways to improve guest satisfaction and team performance.
- Keep accurate guest data in the Property Management System (PMS) and other IT systems, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Requirements
- 0-1 year of experience in a hospitality role or customer service industry, preferably in a hotel or serviced apartment.
- Proven ability to exceed guest expectations and achieve high satisfaction scores.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to connect with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing guest concerns.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Google Drive, and PMS/helpdesk systems.
- Ability to work a rotating schedule, including weekends, public holidays, and various shifts.
