About the Position
Our client is a deep-tech aerospace startup developing intelligent airborne remote sensing systems for autonomous and remotely piloted aircraft. Their mission is to equip next-generation aerial platforms with advanced sensing technologies, enabling safer skies, more effective missions, and a new era of intelligent airborne awareness and data-driven operations.
As an emerging startup, our client is building a focused, high-caliber engineering team to develop next-generation airborne sensing technologies. We are currently looking for a Hardware Design Engineer to support the development of one of their first products.
Responsibilities
- Translate system-level requirements into hardware specifications.
- Perform schematic capture and electrical simulations.
- Design high-speed mixed-signal PCBs (ADC/DAC, FPGA/SoC, power supply).
- Conduct signal integrity and power integrity analysis.
- Select and validate electronics components.
- Bring-up and debug prototype boards.
- Work closely with RF, Software, and Mechanical design teams.
- Support EMI/EMC pre-compliance testing.
- Contribute to DFM and production readiness reviews.
- Document designs in line with Quality and System engineering processes.
Requirements
- MSc or BSc in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years experience in hardware design (mixed-signal and digital).
- Strong PCB design skills, including high-speed interfaces and impedance control.
- Experience with FPGA/SoC-based systems.
- Solid lab debugging skills (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, logic analyzer).
- Experience with Altium Designer (or similar EDA tools).
- Understanding of EMI/EMC fundamentals.
- Upper-intermediate level of English.
Nice to Have
- Experience in radar, RF, aerospace, or defense electronics.
- Familiarity with DO-254 or structured hardware development in regulated environments.
- Experience with environmental qualification testing.
