About the Position

We are currently seeking a Head of Audio-Visual Research & Development to join our global team of over 10,000 talented and driven professionals. This role is pivotal in defining and executing the organization’s AV technology strategy, driving innovation across broadcast and media systems.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the long-term R&D roadmap for audio-visual technologies
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate emerging technologies
- Ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Oversee development of prototypes and pilot implementations
- Evaluate codecs and transmission standards
- Lead development of broadcast tools and workflows
- Ensure integration with existing infrastructure
- Lead and mentor technical teams
- Define objectives and monitor performance
- Manage vendor relationships and monitor trends
Requirements
- 10–15 years in R&D/engineering roles
- 5–10 years in leadership roles
- Proven delivery of AV systems
- Audio/video processing, streaming technologies
- Familiarity with AI/ML in media
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
