Head of Broker Remuneration

Responsibilities

As the Head of Broker Remuneration, you will:

  • Lead a team, inspiring and motivating them to achieve their best while managing performance and driving change.
  • Prioritize tasks, make key decisions, and align business needs with deliverables.
  • Manage daily stand-ups, sprints, and retrospectives in an agile setup, ensuring smooth teamwork and timely delivery.
  • Engage directly with brokers, handling their commission-related queries and ensuring accurate, timely payments.
  • Analyze complex commission data and report it to the Sales Management, using tools such as Power BI to inform key decisions.
  • Set strategies during quarterly planning sessions, aligning team efforts with broader company goals.
  • Solve problems by quickly identifying blockers and ensuring the team stays on track to meet deadlines.
  • Improve processes through retrospectives and refinement sessions, helping the team grow and adapt continuously.
  • Collaborate closely with IT and business teams, ensuring technical solutions meet business requirements.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Economics or Financial Accounting or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of insurance and commissions.
  • Fluent in English and French; Dutch is an additional asset.
  • Analytical mindset with strong prioritization skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills at various levels.
  • Resilient under stress with effective decision-making abilities.
  • Keen customer focus towards brokers.
