About the Position

Head of Business Field - Light Truck 4x4/All Terrain Tires

Continental is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Business Field for Light Truck 4x4/All Terrain Tires. This role involves leading product development teams, technology support, and Design for Manufacturability for Replacement and Original Equipment for LT4x4 AT+ tires worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Manage product development teams, technology support, and Design for Manufacturability for LT4x4 AT+ tires globally.
• Identify main customer needs and define R&D needs to fulfill customer requirements.
• Serve as the main contact for technical discussions with customers during events, testing sessions, and validation of development concepts and processes.
• Oversee product development, introduction, target approvals, and transfers (WW RE and OE).
• Ensure product compliance and quality assurance.
• Define strategy for future business with different OEMs.
• Translate customer strategy needs into future R&D tech requirements.
• Implement Design for Manufacturability.
• Coordinate planning and budgeting.
• Lead and develop a high-performance team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of related professional experience.
• 18+ months of experience leading people and/or projects.
• Completion of ACfEL before promotion to SG 13/14.
• Experience in product development, technology development, manufacturing, and/or quality management.
• Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams, driving innovation, and aligning strategies.
• Legal authorization to work in the US. Visa sponsorship is available for current internal employees only.
