About the Role
- Offer and Demand Strategy: You ensure reliable demand and revenue forecasts, develop models with your team, and ensure that decisions are based on solid assumptions.
- Strategic Network and Expansion Planning: You develop target network scenarios, evaluate their economic viability, and derive recommendations for expansion, fleet strategy, and long-term investments.
- Capacity and Offer Design: You define the commercial guidelines for the annual timetable and ensure that capacities, traffic intensities, and seasonal peculiarities are consistently aligned – in close coordination with operational planning.
- Revenue Planning & Monitoring: You are responsible for revenue planning, develop monitoring to detect deviations early, and ensure a clear interface with yield management and pricing.
- Leadership & Team Building: You build a team of analysts and offer planners, develop them, and promote analytical strength and a learning-oriented working style.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: You work closely with operational offer planning, yield/pricing, public affairs, and marketing to align offer, demand, regulation, and customer segments consistently.
About You
You bring an entrepreneurial mindset, analytical skills, and leadership experience. In addition, you have:
- Several years of professional experience in a management consultancy (e.g., top management or strategy consulting) – you bring the analytical tools and the ability to solve complex problems in a structured manner
- Proven success in building analytical models and tools as well as data-based decision preparation
- Strong persuasiveness – you can clearly represent recommendations and involve stakeholders at different levels
- Leadership experience and proven success in team building and developing analytically strong teams
- Understanding of mobility behavior and transport mode choice
- Experience in offer planning in long-distance rail transport or aviation and knowledge of regulatory processes are advantageous – not mandatory
