Head of Consulting & Development Services Business Unit

Responsibilities

As a member of our management, you will contribute to corporate decisions and be the go-to person for all local matters impacting the CDS Unit (commercial, legal, operational topics). You will:

• Manage and coordinate the CDS Business Unit
• Act as the liaison and SPOC at the group level between group initiatives and local delivery
• Represent the CDS Business Unit on various events

Business Development and Management

• Drive and monitor the sales process and pipeline for CDS, together with the sales department
• Keep an up-to-date understanding of the local market
• Act as presales and deliver tailored presentations to potential clients
• Manage accounts with the responsible account managers
• Engage in strategic negotiations for terms and conditions (including prices)
• Develop strategic business relationships with current accounts and prospects
• Foster cross-sell opportunities by understanding the companies’ solutions and their benefits

Service Management

• Be responsible for the Team’s operation towards existing projects and people
• Influence the Recruitment strategy by defining the USPs for Qualysoft on the local market for the CDS projects
• Be in charge of the consultant’s evolution (annual review, training, skills evolution)
• Manage resources and work closely with all delivery channels
• Keep an up-to-date understanding of the local labor market

Profit Center Management

• Ensure the positive evolution of turnover and profitability for your business unit
• Contribute to the company’s growth by achieving commonly agreed goals
• Monitor projects profitability and customer satisfaction
• Conduct negotiations with new potential partners and manage contract conducting processes
• Prepare and keep the annual business and cost plans

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in working for Software Services companies, including at least 2 years in a hunter/new business role
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree
• Understanding of technology stacks around Back-End, Front-End, DevOps, Cloud, DBAs, QA, Support, and methodologies and principles correlated with Project Management, ITIL, SDLC, etc.
• Experience and expertise on the local market around Software (Development) Services
• Experience and expertise on the local labor market around the main technology stacks
• Exceptional abilities in communication and negotiation
• Strong analytical abilities
• Excel in quickly adapting to change and proactively addressing challenges
• Fluent in English and German languages
