About the Position
Spendbase is a fast-growing fintech SaaS startup helping companies take control of their spending. With our all-in-one platform, businesses can manage SaaS subscriptions, cloud costs, and corporate cards in one place - bringing clarity and control to company expenses.
We’re looking for a Head of Creative Content who hates “boring B2B.” Your mission isn’t to rank for keywords or write product manuals; it’s to build brand authority and massive awareness through thought leadership that people actually want to consume. You will lead the creative vision for how Spendbase shows up on social media and across the digital ecosystem, turning complex financial domains into insightful, visual, and entertaining content.
Responsibilities
- Strategy & Vision: Launch and own the content strategy for multiple products and personas, ensuring messaging is tailored yet consistently high-impact
- Thought Leadership: Create and oversee the production of content that positions Spendbase as a visionary in the fintech space
- Social & Awareness: Focus purely on top-of-funnel awareness with creative, visual, and engaging content for LinkedIn, Twitter, and other social channels
- Creative Execution: Move beyond text - lead visual storytelling, video concepts, and bold perspectives that challenge the status quo
- Organization: Build a repeatable content engine, structuring workflows to ensure consistent, high-quality output across domains
- Collaboration: Work directly with the CMO (Max Bondarenko) to align creative direction with overall marketing objectives
Requirements
- You've taken a "dry" industry - finance, procurement, B2B software - and made people actually care about it
- Your own LinkedIn or social presence shows you can create content people want to follow - we'll look
- Near-native English with exceptional written communication skills - non-negotiable
- Proven B2B tech or SaaS experience - non-negotiable
- Creative-first mindset: you lead with ideas, not templates
- Operational excellence: you can build systems, manage contributors, and deliver without being micromanaged
- Startup spirit: comfortable experimenting, iterating, and moving fast
