About the Position
A leading European Fintech company is searching for an experienced credit risk professional with a data analytics know-how to lead the European Credit Risk Management team. You will collaborate with senior leadership, data scientists, underwriting, and operations to enhance risk management frameworks and strategies.
Responsibilities
- Oversee credit risk management.
- Develop and implement risk strategies and assessments, adapting to market conditions.
- Optimize scorecards and take data automation and processes to the next level for the growing German market.
- Support product development, e.g., new lending features.
- Collaborate with the capital markets team to secure financing capacity.
Requirements
- Strong analytical background, degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or similar.
- 5+ years of experience in credit risk management, ideally in a Fintech environment.
- Python and machine learning knowledge would be appreciated.
- Fluency in German and English.
