About the Role

DNV is seeking a forward-thinking and customer-focused Head of Cruise Center, Americas, to lead our cruise business across the Americas. This role is central to our growth and success in the region, with a strong emphasis on building trusted client relationships, staying ahead of market trends, and ensuring operational excellence. The Head of Cruise Center Americas will report to the Regional Manager Americas, in Houston, and be a member of the Regional Leadership Team. This position will be located in our Sunrise, Florida office to service/grow the cruise client base in the Americas.

What You'll Do

  • Drive growth in the Americas cruise market: Lead the efforts to increase market share for DNV within the cruise segment, both for new buildings, ships in operations, and advisory services.
  • Shape the regional cruise strategy: Define and coordinate strategic and tactical plans for the cruise segment in close collaboration with global cruise centers and strategy teams.
  • Lead the DNV Americas Cruise Center: Build and develop a high-performing team across business development, key account management, and customer delivery.
  • People Management: Execute and monitor leadership and HR management according to the DNV People Policy and relevant instructions for Technical Service Managers and Key Account Managers reporting into the Cruise Center.
  • Develop new business and services: Translate market insights into service improvements, innovation, and growth of the advisory portfolio.
  • Lead sales and marketing execution: Plan, guide, and continuously improve regional sales and marketing activities.
  • Own key client relationships: Fill the role as Key Account Manager (KAM) for selected customers.
  • Position DNV as a trusted partner: Reinforce and strengthen our reputation as a professional, creative, and solution-oriented partner to the cruise industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Engineering, or Science or equivalent.
  • 10 years of experience from the maritime and cruise industry.
  • Strong cruise industry network and credibility with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership experience with proven ability to lead and develop teams.
  • Commercially driven, with the ability to translate strategy into results.
  • Solid track record in business development and client relationship management.
  • Excellent English communication skills and the ability to adapt.
  • Solid knowledge of DNV products, services, and internal networks.
  • Self-starter with a proactive, creative, and solution-oriented approach.
  • Committed to DNV values, passionate about business development, and eager to drive innovation.
