Head of Development (Grants / Major Gifts)

About the Position

Create is seeking a dynamic, ambitious, and driven fundraiser (grants/major gifts) with strong strategic skills, an exemplary income generation track record, and a passion for the power of the creative arts. This Senior Leadership Team position reports directly to the Chief Executive and manages a small team.

Responsibilities

• Lead fundraising efforts and connect the power of creative arts with vulnerable communities.
• Develop and implement strategies for income generation from Trusts & Foundations (T&F), public sector, and High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI).
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Meet fundraising targets and contribute to the organization's growth and impact.

Requirements

• Extensive senior-level fundraising experience.
• Strong strategic skills and a proven track record in income generation.
• Passion for the creative arts and their impact on isolated and vulnerable communities.
• Excellent relationship-building and storytelling skills.

We Offer

• Competitive salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per year.
• Hybrid working arrangement in London, Greater London.
